Katie and Mia brand up and it was all a misunderstanding. Chris idea Mia blew her off according to Emma's brother Matt then she has to mend things with him at the trip the light fantastic. Though Mia finished the wearing apparel and Emma said she would model it she forget to make a Halloween costume for the dance! She ends up going every bit a clown and sees that Chris goes to the trip the light fantastic toe with a girl in her class named Talia. Chris and Mia are still friends but she is a piffling bummed that she didn't get to the dance with him. At least Katie got to go with George and Alexis went with Matt. Mia is excited to enter a Design-a-Wearing apparel competition, but she's pressed for time. And when she tries to terminate working on her dress during a Halloween cupcake party, it's a recipe for disaster! When Mia reads well-nigh a Design-a-Wearing apparel contest in a magazine for "budding designers ages 12–16" she is excited. But she doesn't realize how much piece of work designing—and sewing—a dress truly is until she starts on her contest entry. While Mia stresses out near all the piece of work she has to practise, she and Katie have an statement nigh, of all things, manner preferences! Katie offers suggestions that don't really get with the outfit Mia has in mind. And when Mia makes (what she thinks) is an offhand joke about Katie's mode sense, information technology turns into a total-diddled argument.
As Mia tries to finish working on her dress during a kids' Halloween cupcake party, she realizes that kids plus cupcakes plus silk dresses plus frosting equals a recipe for disaster!

Mia finds mixing cupcakes and fashion tin can lead to disaster. Another fine entry in a delightful serial.

When she's non daydreaming about cupcakes, Coco edits children's books and has written close to 100 books for children, tweens, and young adults, which is a lot less than the number of cupcakes she's eaten. Cupcake Diaries is the kickoff fourth dimension Coco has mixed her love of cupcakes with writing.
